MISSION STATEMENT:
 CREATING EMPOWERMENT THROUGH GREATER UNDERSTANDING.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE & FLEXIBLE EDUCATION .PROGRAM
OBJECTIVES
DaVinci University (DVU) offers flexible scholastic collegiate opportunities from single classes and Certificates of Completion (COC’s) through post Doctoral course work, at the lowest possible unit cost. It provides innovative and comprehensive interdisciplinary academics in the Colleges of Art, Constitutional Law, Educational Empowerment, Engineering and Technology, Entrepreneurial Business & Economics, Ecolonomics, Environmental Science, Integrative Health, and PsychoSocial Empowerment. It relies heavily on personal initiative with extensive electronic media and other distance formats for real time academics. DVU holds a strong conviction in certification by demonstrated competency derived from life and work experience, as well as conventional academics. Students and instructors are strongly encouraged to focus their efforts on “empowering” real world applications, especially where competency is already demonstrated.
Corporate programs are designed to meet the needs of any size organization interested in improving the bottom line by decreasing injuries, improving insurance coverage, enhancing productivity, limiting dependence on outside consultations in favor of in-house experts and educators, or simply enhancing the self esteem of the work force through empowered general education. In many cases, existing corporate employee training qualifies for academic credit in the academic track chosen, and special block tuition rates apply to these credits.
DVU encourages the participation of family groups, conventions, seminars, support groups, salons, or other empowering gatherings in the interest of improving the various communities of the world, and the people and organizations that create them.
All in-house educational programs (written, taped, web-paged, computerized, or otherwise stored) are published and copyrighted by Empowerment Press. We welcome academic authors in all media with new concepts that fit within our flexible framework, and whomever else would like to join the faculty, which is composed entirely of “real world” professionals teaching within their areas of expertise.
DVU trains and validates students to serve in government, industry, and private life. Participants learn the precepts of communications, community and global sociology, computer science, ecolonomics, economics, efficiency, personal empowerment epidemiology, ergonomics, integrative health care, applicable laws and regulations, nutrition, psychology, safety, social skills, synergistic entrepreneurial business, and triage based problem solving. Upon completion of a course of study, participants are certified by DVU to have met the educational standards commensurate with the certificate awarded. While DVU cannot, of course, guarantee employment to our graduates, it does try to create programs which enable career development. No student is directed to a course of study which does not, in the opinion of the faculty and staff, have real life applications of value to that student.
Special programs are available for groups with special skills, needs, or qualifications; most of whom have been ignored in large part by the traditional educational system. Religious missionaries, military personnel, exceptional HS students, business cohorts, special interest salons, peace corps volunteers, user groups, prison inmates, etc.; all have special attributes that are directly addressed by DaVinci University programs.
